At this time, a Zoosk account is either active or deleted. There is no option to pause, hide, or deactivate your profile, and there's no way to hide yourself from other members while keeping your account.
If you'd like a break without leaving
You can quiet things down while keeping your account active:
- Turn off notifications so Zoosk stops emailing and sending you push alerts. See How do I manage my notifications?
- Simply stop logging in. Your profile stays as it is, and you can pick up right where you left off whenever you're ready.
If you want to leave permanently
You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent — your profile, matches, Connections, and messages are removed and cannot be restored. If you have an active subscription, turn off automatic renewal separately first, as deleting your account does not cancel it. See How do I delete my profile? and How do I cancel my subscription?
