Why was my subscription automatically renewed?

Quick answer: Subscriptions renew automatically by default. Turn off automatic renewal before your next billing date to stop future charges.

  • Web: Account Settings > Subscription > Manage Subscription
  • iOS: turn off renewal in your Apple account settings
  • Android: turn off renewal in your Google Play account
  • Renewal terms are disclosed at purchase and in the Terms of Service

For full steps, see How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions renew automatically by default to help ensure uninterrupted access to Premium features and communication with your matches.

When you purchase a subscription, the automatic renewal terms are disclosed during the purchase process and are also outlined in our Terms of Service.

Unless automatic renewal is turned off before the renewal date, your subscription will automatically renew for the applicable renewal term and the associated charge will be processed using your selected payment method.

How do I stop future renewals?

If you do not wish to continue your subscription, you can turn off automatic renewal at any time before your next billing date.

The steps depend on where you originally purchased your subscription.
