Quick answer: Reports are anonymous, and our Trust & Safety team reviews every one you submit.
- We review it — our Trust & Safety team looks at every report.
- We investigate — we look at the reported account's activity and history.
- We take action — this can range from a warning to a permanent ban, depending on what we find.
- Reporting also blocks the member, so they can no longer contact you.

Reports are anonymous — the person you reported is never told who reported them.
For your safety, when you report a member you are also blocking them, so they can no longer contact you. You generally won't receive details about the outcome of an investigation, for privacy reasons, but you can contact Customer Support if needed.
If you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. To report financial fraud, contact the FTC at 1-877-FTC-HELP or the FBI's IC3 at ic3.gov.
