Zoosk gives you two ways to manage members you'd rather not interact with: blocking and reporting. They serve different purposes, so here's how to know which one to use.
When to block
Use Block when you're simply not interested in a member and want to stop interacting with them. There doesn't need to be anything wrong—maybe the match isn't right for you, or you'd just prefer not to be contacted.
Blocking a member prevents them from:
- Viewing your profile
- Contacting you
- Appearing in your matches
Blocking is a quiet, personal action. The member is not notified, and our team is not alerted. Please note that blocking is permanent and cannot be undone, so be sure before you confirm.
When to report
Use Report when a member has done something that violates our Terms of Service or makes the community less safe. This includes:
- Offensive, abusive, or harassing messages
- Fake profiles or suspected fraud
- Inappropriate or explicit content
- Any other behavior that violates our Terms of Service
When you report a member, they are automatically blocked as well, and our team reviews the report to take appropriate action. Reports are anonymous—the member you report will not be notified.
Reporting should be reserved for genuine concerns. If you're simply not interested in someone, blocking is the right choice.

| Offensive or abusive messages | Report |
| Fake profile or suspected fraud | Report |

| Any Terms of Service violation | Report |
