How can I delete a match?
Quick answer: There's no direct way to delete a match, but blocking a member stops all contact and removes them from your matches - permanently.
- Block from the three-dot menu on a profile, or from within a chat.
- Blocking removes the member from your matches and hides your profile from them.
- Behaving inappropriately? Use Block and Report to also alert our team.
While there isn't an option to delete a match directly, you can block a member if you'd prefer not to interact with them anymore. Once a member is blocked, they will no longer be able to view your profile, send you messages, or appear in your matches.
Important: Blocking is permanent and cannot be reversed. Please make sure you want to block a member before proceeding.
Block a member from Recommended or Discover
- Tap the three-dot menu on the member's profile photo.
- Select Block.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
Block a member from Chats
- Open your conversation with the member.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.
- Select Block.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
Report inappropriate behavior
If a member is behaving inappropriately or violating our Terms and Conditions, we recommend using Block and Report.
This will:
- Immediately block the member.
- Alert our team so we can review the account.
- Help us maintain a safe community for all members.
